Instructions on how to grow PVMI varieties
1. Purchase a license- Seed growers must obtain a license and pay a fee to grow PVMI varieties. Both the license contracts and royalty calculation forms can be found and printed here.

Tri-state members: $100 per year
Outside Tri-state: $250 per year
​
2. Once a license is obtained, keep track of seed produced and sold. Royalties need to be paid on seed sold.

Rates are as follows:
Tri-state
$0.25/cwt non-specialty varieties
$1.00/cwt specialty varieties
Outside Tri-State
$0.50/cwt non-specialty varieties
$1.00/cwt specialty varieties
Outside United States
$1.00/cwt non-specialty varieties
$2.00/cwt specialty varieties
